On the occasion of the 2021 edition of Photo Vogue Festival, Metronom presents La sicurezza degli oggetti, solo show by the artist Annabel Elgar at NonostanteMarras, Milan, from the 17th November to the 10th December 2021.
La sicurezza degli oggetti presents a selection of works by Elgar that traces back the artist's lines of research and her material experimentation from the Refuge series in 2008 to the more recent Lockdown cross-stich series in 2021. The space of NonostanteMarras is populated by the characters and stories that Elgar constructs and tells, in a sort of infinite and self-generating narrative possibility: enigmatic stories that seem to oppose, deliberately with grace and irony, to any attempt to find a solution.
