Kamilia Kard (Milan, 1981) is an artist, researcher, and teacher. After graduating in Political Economy, she obtained a three-year diploma in Painting and a degree in Net Art from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
Kard focuses on identity construction in the internet era, working on digital images, static or animated, transforming them into GIFs, websites, prints, videos, and installations.
She has exhibited in various places, including Careof in Milan, Galerie Odile Ouizeman in Paris, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, IMAL in Brussels, Fotomuseum Winterthur, La Triennale in Milan, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sao Paulo (Brazil), La Quadriennale in Rome, Hypersalon Miami.
