Senza titolo 4, Schnittmenge. Punctum
Bärbel Reinhard

‘Schnittmenge’, German word for intersection, means literally the quantum of objects cropped together. Single parts of photographs are extrapolated and riassembled, creating circular spotlights, representing the (non) ‘punctum’ that encloses small key elements, alternating larger views of German and Italian landscape, mixing black and white with color. This project follows the idea of the perception of belonging, affinity or extraneousness to nature, the Italian and the German one.

Bärbel Reinhard (Stuttgart, Germany, 1977) is a visual artist, photographer, curator, and educator based in Tuscany, Italy.
