METAMORPHOSIS | DIGITAL VIDEO WALL
Metamorphosis, the new exhibition curated by Gemma Fantacci and hosted on the Metronom's Digital Video Wall (DVW), will begin on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. The unique location of the DVW allows 24-hour viewing from the street, transforming it into an urban intervention, a way to redesign and change the street's image.
Metamorphosis is the theme chosen for the fifth edition of the DVW, which focuses on the visual and conceptual investigation carried out by several artists at the intersection of artificial intelligence, bots, algorithms, virtual and gaming environments. The series unfolds across multiple thematic threads, exploring how the new frontiers of technology shape human dynamics and how they constantly redefine our relationship with machines and technology.
Ø, by MØRNING STUDIO, is an experimental creative project that examines "the intricate relationship between humans and machines through the perspective of an otherworldly creative" (MØRNING STUDIO) that takes the form of a three-headed bot dog. Ø is an evolving bot that relies on Chat GPT and communicates with people through a WhatsApp chat accessible via QRCode.
