AIN'T FREE | DIGITAL VIDEO WALL #3

Ain't Free (2020) is the first video intervetion in the programm of FILTRO, third edition of DIGITAL VIDEO WALL, an annaul project structured in thematic chapters, aimed at promoting the dissemination and experimentation of digital art.
FILTRO is the area of interest identified by Gemma Fantacci for the third chapter of the project: the selected works share the keywords avats, identity, body, digital vs analog, IRL vs virtual worlds.
The first screening is entrusted to Georgie Roxby Smith with Ain't Free (2020). The Australian artist explores the intersections between the physical and virtual worlds focusing on the carnival of empty capitalism and the desire to presente the best version of the self.
