The 8th of June opens the solo exhibition of Kenta Cobayashi: The Past Exists at Mitsukoshi Contemporary Gallery in Tokyo.
With an installation of 90 portraits, the Japanese artist tries to explore the places where poetic sensitivity and technological experimentation find a meeting place within photography. The artworks on display are a collection of moments from the artist's daily life on which he digitally intervenes by transporting the pixels onto the surface of the image and in doing so he changes its DNA.
