The Absence, book by Attilio Solzi, is the winner of Marco Bastianelli Award 2022. The book, edited by 89 Books, is the result of the graphic and photographic project of the artist who, during a year, photographed a specifc place, represented in his images through a series of details, objects and nature.
"Several prostitutes can be found along the Paullese highway, which connects Milan and Cremona. Some of them are equipped with chairs. Used mainly at night, the chairs remain abandoned during the day. For a year I photographed one of these chairs, early in the morning or in the afternoon, in the excat posizion in which the prostitute had left it."
