MARIT WOLTERS | ST. VIRGIL SALZBURG

On the occasion of the artistic residency hosted by Kunstraum St. Virgil in Salzburg, the artist Marit Wolter presents the result of her research.
In her practice, Marit Wolters examines the transitions and delimitation between architecture and nature. For this project she focused on the historic buildings of Salzburg and in particular on the brutalist architectural current present in the city. Wolters, studying on the material of the concrete and on the process of its formation and solidification arrives to the creation of a sculptural and photographic body of works.
The exhibition is on view at thr Kunstraum St. Virgil from the 14th October 2022 to the 24 February 2023.
