"The characters in the embroidery series make it clear how difficult it is to take an interest in your fellow man if you don't feel there is anything like a future. Human actions freeze without a spatial view and the passage of time inside these draws made using needle and thread. Wandering through the holes of the embroidery mats «the characters become vulnerable, fearful and lost, floating in spaces stripped of place and context, and the swirling chaos of the outside world»"
