Metronom is pleased to present the sixth and last screening of the Rabbit Hole programme curated by Gemma Fantacci, hosted on our DIGITAL VIDEO WALL, with the video Overpopulation (2020) by Sara Bezovšek.
From 9 May to 6 June 2023 it is possible to see Overpopulation 24 hours a day on the Digital Video Wall of Metronom, via Carteria 10, Modena. Bezovšek's video was made by recording the web page specially created by the artist, while it is scrolled down – indeed the peculiarity of her practice is configured in the creation of html pages with infinite scrolling.
Overpopulation paints a dystopian future in which it is understood that the constant growth of the earth's population has led to its progressive extinction
