Hiva Alizadeh (Kerman, IR, 1989) lives and works in Tehran. Filmmaker and artist, he began his career writing and directing experimental films and documentaries before turning to the creation of sculptural works and installations. Since then, Hiva has achieved a more concise and personal form of expression that combines new media by drawing inspiration from the decorative tradition of carpet weaving typical of its native land. He was part of personal and collective shows such as If walls could talk, The Flat - Massimo Carasi, Milan (2022); The Flat/Sarahcrown booth, UNTITLED ART, Miami Beach USA (2021); Stranger in Town, Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, Berlin (2019) VOLTA 15 , The Flat - Massimo Carasi, Basel, Switzerland (2019); Width forty Length Fifty five, AKNOON Gallery, Esfahan (2018); Thin Three-Dimensionality / Sottile tridimensionalità, The Flat - Massimo Carasi, Milano (2018); Collezione SPRING, Museo Arte Contemporanea, KERMAN, (2018);  Scenery,  Shirin Gallery of Contemporary Art, Teheran, Iran (2017).
